To win the exclusive and so coveted International “Trend Vision Award” Trophy every competing hairdresser complies with the Rules & Regulations. Here they are in essence:
- The hairdresser is judge on his/her skills and aptitude in doing the colour or perm technique, the haircut, the hairstyling and finish.
- At the national competition the hairdresser show his/her abilities live in front of the judge. The hairdresser must cut a minimum 1-2 cm off the model’s hair, show a colour or perm technique as well as styling and finish within 3 hours. During the International competition, the hairdresser only style hair, do make-up and fitting because his/her ability to cut, colour and/or perm hair has already been shown, judged and qualified at the national competition.
- The work of the hairdresser is observed throughout the whole day by a jury. Before the competition begins, the hairdresser is expected to give a short description of the techniques and products that are used and why these are appropriate for the model.
